still images coming in stretched and distorted
I am creating a show from Powerpoint slides. I saved the slides as jpg images, 960 X720. When I bring them into the Viewer they are stretched and distorted, as if FC is trying to make them 16:9. My sequence settings are standard DV. I have to distort the first slide and apply the attribute to the other slides to make them 3 X 4. Why are they stretched out when I import them? Is there any way to fix this?

check one in the viewer and see if on the motion tab it has been enlarged or shrunk.
the best option for this kind of workflow is to bring them in at 800×600 or 640×480
this way they are very close to D1 and unlikely to distort.
