still image issue
Hi,
I’m a new user of vegas pro 9 (64bits with Windows 7) and I’m having problem with still image.
My projects is 1920×1080 50i. When I insert a still image in the timeline, they appear red and can’t be previewed on the screen. I’ve tried to downsize them to 1920×1080 both jpg and png format (as advised on other posts) but the pictures still appear red and no preview. When I render (using the same preset as the project), some pictures are rendered,some others not.
I’ve tried to make a 720×576 project with the same images and, even without resizing the pictures, everything is fine from timeline to render.
Am I missing something? -

I am having a similar issue, but it is not consistent…but often. Also some stills disappear from view, but are not red in the timeline when this happens.
I don’t have this issue with After Effects, so is there a way to use programs effectively? I do know how to use premiere pro but to import into premiere pro from after effects I would have to buy the premium or the master collection to have the dynamic link. Vegas after just 1 day of playing with is seems to be a little easier to work with.
