Still Image cutting off as I move it left or right of original position
Imported still jpeg and dragged it to the time line. Used pan/crop tool to reduce size. When I went to move image to left or right of original image position it started to crop away with whatever I had on a lower track or to black with nothing in a lower track.
I thought I would be able to crop the image and then move it around the screen to any postion I wanted and still see the full image.
Any Ideas of what I am doing wrong?

This is a quirk of the pan/crop tool, but it can be overcome by right-clicking on the image in pan/crop and selecting “match output aspect”.
This forces the pan/crop rectangle to the output video proportions so that you don’t end up with black bars or the next track showing at the edges.
This also applies if you are cropping the image so you only get a piece out of the middle.
