still confused about restraining bezier handle movement
No matter what I try, I am still unable to constrain the movements of bezier spline handles to either one or two dimensions in a perspective view. I’ve tried with constuction planes and every each way!! I know it can be done because I’ve had it working previously. Maybe on a previous version, I’m on R13 now.
Can anyone explain this to me?

13 there’s the problem, I just tried what I described to you before… doesn’t work in 13 but it does in 14. Must be one of the improvements in 14. Try it in the demo.
I don’t know if anyone has a plugin that can do that. Otherwise I would keep the spline flat in one of the Front/side/Top views so you can work on it there and not have to use the perspective view. -
Thanks Brian. I was beginning to think I was going crazy. I’ve not really to need to ug to 14 but I tried in 11 and that works as well!
