Still aliasing at 16×16???
I’ve maxed out the settings and I still get this result. Is C4D just incapable of smoothing this out? I must be doing something wrong.

the closer linear elements get to vertical the harder antialiasing gets since it has so few pixels over which to smooth the jaggies particularly with horizontal lines as the background. But there are a lot the settings can do, check out the help – there’s a bunch of good info there on antialiasing.

After some reading and trying different filter types, I was able to get better results.

This thread reminded me to post something about the sharing of render settings… is that even possible via the load preset click? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a catalogue of render settings – think social network – for different types of imaging?
