Hey guys, I’m animating a character with arms made out of strokes and simple circles for hands (yes, very very cheap). What I’ve been doing to keep the hands and arms connected is adjusting their positions frame by frame.

I was wondering if there’s a way to ‘bind’ and object to one point of a stroke?

I’ve played around with some of the methods mentioned in this post: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/227/18055
and it works perfect for the effect the OP needed but in my case, when I moved End point of the stroke, the layer bound to it doesn’t follow.

I need this project done in weeks so I’m kind of desperate at this point.

Unfortunately, expressions don’t have access to path points. Sometimes you can fake it (as in your reference) by pasting a path into a null’s positon, but that doesn’t work when the path is animated (as it sounds like yours are). You could do it post-animation with a script (which would have access to animated path points) but it’s not a very flexible solution (if you change the animation, you’d have to re-run the script).
