Stereo From 5.1- Problem
With a couple of hours footage to edit I decided it would be simpler on the timeline to do it in stereo. The file had been recorded in 5.1. I imported from the file into Vegas pro 12 in stereo and one channel was twice the strength of the other on the timeline. I suspected a problem with the camera recording but before checking the camera I changed the properties in Vegas to 5.1 and down loaded some of the same clips onto the same timeline and the main left and right channels were ok – equal and of similar strength to the weaker channel of the stereo which suggests the problem is with the strong channel in the stereo footage..
What is the problem with the stereo channels? Any suggestions please?
