Stereo clip transferred to timeline results in mono (left channel FCP 7)
Working with Final Cut Pro 7 on Mac, when I want to transfer a stereo clip to the timeline, although the clip shows stereo in the viewer, only the left channel is transferred. How can I solve this problem so that both channels appear in the timeline?

Are both audio tabs connected? Far left hand side of the timeline…first, does the clip show having two audio channels? Second, are they both connected?

Thank you for your quick answer. booth tracks (L and R) are connected in the viewer, meaning that I see both tracks and I can hear it in stereo on playback (in the viewer). The problem is when I transfer the clip in the time line, either from the viewer or from the navigator, I only get one mono track (the left track) as if the right track was left behind.

Timeline…connected on the TIMELINE.
Note how a2 is not connected..but a1 is. Are both of your audio tracks connected on the timeline?
