stepped time look
I’m looking to make an expression that affects the playback time of a movie. I want an expression that show every 4th frame of a captured video clip. I also want it to hold that frame for 4 frames. so a style that it similar to a stepped time look. like stop motion animation.

this isn’t an expression, but try the posterize time effect and set it to a frame rate that is around 1/4 the frame rate of the comp.
if your comp is 29.97, try a posterize time frame rate of 7.5
