    Hi,
I have to do some steam for two different commercials, one is an ironing machine and the other is a deo.
Some years ago I would have done it with Particle Illusion or with Maya if I had the time…
But maybe there’s some easier plugin within AEX?
I’m concerned about having the steam colliding with the other surfaces (cloth and armpit).
Any ideas are really welcome, thanks!

Dave suggestion is good- Particular can do a really nice job – also Particle World may do it for you. As far as the spray hitting the armpit, you may also try using a Mesh Warp or Puppet Tool to distort the jet. Here’s a great tutorial:

Thanks Dave, I downloaded the trial and will consider its purchase.
I’ll tell you how it goes because the I tried CC particle world and the kind of particles it uses doesn’t convince me much, no sprites to reproduce proper steam, there’s some lack of daemons and such…
But I’ll still give it a try, thanks so much Ted. The tutorial was a good hint!
