has anyone seen the movie stay?
if so, does anyone have an idea as to how they made the look when henry and sam are on the brooklyn bridge?
that dreamy effect and those sort of stroke lines.
I would really like to be able to manipulate this effect in any way and your help would be greatly apprectiated.

Hi, those lines were designed by Doc Bailey with a software called Spore.

I haven’t seen the movie but from the websites that Peter provided the look reminds me of AE Flame.
AE Flame is a plugin for AfterEffects and can create this wispy-organic lines. Best of all this plugin is free.

    Go to http://www.andrewdavidson.com/aeflame/

They have the a couple of galleries to look at and I think of I can recall a tutorial page too.

Haven’t had a chance to do anything with the plug in yet (no down time) but the galleries are impress.

Hope this is what you are looking for.
