    Hi All;

    I’m pretty certain i had seen how to do this on here but can’t seem to find it when doing the search. I’m trying to figure out how to duplicate the projection of Princess Leia by R2D2 when she asking for help.

    If any of you know where this detail is or how to do this with Vegas i’d really appreciate it.
    Thanks
    Johnny

    Shouldn’t you be asking on a droid board? Sheesh.

    Just kidding. I would film the subject to be “projected” on a green screen, then use chroma key to make their background transparent, use pan/crop to make them smaller & place them wherever I wanted in the main scene, and either lower the opacity of the projected image to make it seem somewhat transparent, or try using the TV simulator plug-in or something like that, to make the projected image look grainy.

    Hey VVEG … Apprec’ the info. The Droid’s weren’t willing to share their secrets. 🙂

    Thanks again …

    You could add a “Glow” to the image as well…looks more projected from a light source…
