    No, you are not dumb…
    Yes , I said its the flashed and modded card from ebay which is like 20 bucks more expensive than the off the shelf one.
    Until Apple and nVidia has a beer together we are in that limbo and I am definitely not rewarding them by paying for an underpowered overpriced and already outdated (5xx available) card like the Quadro 4000.

    Q4000 = 800 + 3x QFX4800 = 3800 + Qubix 4 = ca 7000 !!

    and we are talking just 750 cores here.

    And by the way…deep down into some executable it seems the 470,480,570 and 580 are somehow supported by Resolve anyway.
    Am I predicting the future here ? I hope so at least 🙂

    Come on Steve , dont let us out hanging dry !

    Has anyone seen a tutorial on how to flash a GTX 470?

    Also, Sascha, what Apple Power management extension did you have to delete to work it in Lion?

    Could you re-post the test scene you were using for your benchmarking? I’m trying to get a since of the relative performance of GTX 690s, GTX 680s, GTX 680s with 4GBs, and GTX 580s before I build a new system. Thanks.

    in Candle test there is used demo footage from resolve installer image that you load from BM site.

    You just have to reconnect them and voila.

    Ah. I can’t run Resolve on my current system….thus the new workstation in the works. So I’m having a friend test it. Is the Candle test a project that comes with the install? Does it have to be a legit license or does the free one have the same project? Thanks

    no.

    2 separate things:

    1. project file i.e. Candle test – made by Sasha free for now 🙂

    2. media file from resolve install image from folder called “sample footage” etc. – also free for testing

    Thanks! Can’t seem to track down Sasha’s “Candle Test” Project in his user profile, his websites, or a google search. Can you point me in the right direction?
