So, my 470 is here and works like a charm.
I am also running Lion and the only thing I needed to do is deleting Apples Power management extension.Here are the test results from the Q4000-only, the 285/120, the 470/120 and the 2xQ4000-Cubix4/120 now next to each other to compare.

My conclusion is, the 470 is bang for buck and with phasing out the 285 its the best buy right now.
It proves to be almost as fast a two Q4000s in an external box without the investment, noise and cable action that comes with the case.
Definitely the best in-the-box solution.
But its also a little louder than the EVGA 285.
And if you already got the extender, two of those might give you the power of a 480 without using a Hackintosh 🙂I am also uploading the test file again :
