Hi guys/gals, do any of you know what an FMV file is? I have a client asking me to render them a “Standard 16:9 Full Motion-Video (FMV)” file so they can play the spot on elevator monitors.

I gave them an MPEG2 1920 by 1080 file before, but now they’re asking me for an FMV file, do any of you know what that is?

I could really use your help.

    Thanks.

It is a Full Motion Video File. I have never worked with it before because it is used for video games. Are they sure they gave you the right codec and they didn’t mean something like FLV? I would make sure they didn’t mean FLV.

Thanks Stephen I figured as much. That’s what they needed in the end. Thanks for your help.
