Stabilizing program works with Premiere
Posted by Jessica Robbins on October 27, 2009 at 4:00 pmAnyone recommend a stabilization program less than $300 that works with Premiere?
Thanks,

October 27, 2009 at 5:37 pmWhile I have not used it in a while, since After Effect included the Mocha plugin, I find Mercalli by Prodad to be a very simple and effective little program. The pro version was about $120.00 and they have a demo.
Keep in mind that footage with low shutter speeds and high camera motion will gave some motion blur, so you will have a much harder time getting a sharp image.

October 28, 2009 at 8:41 amMocha is only included in After Effects…and not in CS3, it was introduced in CS4.
If you have an earlier version of AE, the included motion tracker/stabilization functions do work…
