Once you have placed the portion of the clip that you want (now an ‘event’) on the timeline, right click it and create a subclip. Now apply the stabilizing effect to that subclip via tools/video/mediaFX/stabilize).
    Should work.

    Thanks Phil

That work for me ( NICE)

I was wondering also when I am cutting up my timeline in different tracks or several , should I ( Cut or Delete ) those parts I don’t want ?

    Cool 🙂

It makes no difference but trimming events does clean up the timeline for your readability. An event on the timeline is just a pointer to the clip in the Project Media. (The Project Media is the only place in Vegas where you have clips.) When you cut, trim or delete parts of an event all you are doing is changing the pointers to the start and end of the media. You can have many events pointing to the same media (that’s why they are called events). You cannot alter the media itself.
