  squares moving in 3d space

  Hey

  I’m trying to move some squares following each other like a ribbon in a 3d space. I don’t want it to be a full ribbon though. They must be spaces between the squares. I want them to bend when they turn. Those squares should project a light in 3d space. It should look more or less like a train, from which we could only see the windows enlighted, moving in 3d space. I’m not sure I’m perfectly clear but…

  I’ve tried using particular 1.5, giving it a motion path, but the paticles always face the camera.
  I thought I could use some shine effect for the projected light.

  If anyone has an idea.
