S&Q on PMW-350
I know it’s not a “EX” cam but I bet someone could help me out.
What ever I do on this camera I cannot go into the menu under “Rec Function” and turn ON Slow & Quick Motion. Doesn’t matter if I have it set to 1080 (which I know won’t work anyway) or any of the 720 formats. Nothing allows me to select it. It’s just grayed out. At first I though it might be because we have the “economy cards”. But I looked into that and these cards are faster than the “pro” versions.
There’s no S&Q dial on the cam like the EX3. Unless I am totally blind. I’m at a loss. Anyone?

Are the other settings (Cache etc) in the ‘Rec Function’ menu ghosted out as well? Check the setting of Assign Switch 2– if Cache Record is assigned to this slide switch you lose the ability to select any of the Rec Function items from the camera menu.

That is exactly what the problem was. Assign switch 2 was set to Rec Cache. Thanks!!
