November 26, 2006 at 5:46 amHave you tried a new Solid (Ctrl Y), make it 3D (Check the boxunder the little cube), X rotation 90 degrees, drop the Y position a little, then Layer>New>Light, choose Spot, then pull it’s Point Of Interest around untill it make a lit circle on the Floor? Is that what you want.
There is also Perspective>CC Spotlight, but that’s for 2D layers, but it’s cool.
If you want to see the Soptlight as a beam (tindel effect) you’ll need trapcode’s Lux.
