Spooky transparency variation in transparency graph
Hi chaps, I’ve been working on an project for a week or two and I have a bit of green screen footage (a ptc) that I’ve been adding opacity keyfames to … on reviewing the project i sometimes find this footage isn’t 100% transparent, ie there’s a ghost of an image where there shouldn’t be, but either side of the marker the keyframes are zero … I then open up the graph to find that there’s a tweak to the graph altering the transparency … please tell me how I might be creating this additional variation in the transparency (I have never in this project gone to the graph view for any reason) ie is it possible that I’m using some strange keyboard short cut combination that’s creating this graph ?

Most likely your keyframes are not set to linear interpolation, thus creating the effect you observed. Select the keyframes in your graph view and convert them to linear.
