Can someone help me find a tutorial on how to split the screen in Vegas. I’d like to do a 2 split, 4, 8 and so on. Using the same clip for these, but would like to learn how to do different clips in each of the windows during one scene as well.

    Thanks

From your description, it sounds like you are trying to do a picture-in-picture (PIP) effect, not a split screen.

Play with the track motion controls (button is on the track header), and you will have an “a-haa” moment. You can resize and reposition your video that way. Add more tracks with more media, and you can have them play anywhere on screen in whatever position you want.

Thanks Gary, I played around and finally figured it out. Track, on track, on track on track for every instance you want on the screen.
