Splitting stereo tracks to dual mono in timeline
I cut in all my audio tracks as stereo. I now want to split them out to dual mono. Is there a way to convert the stereo tracks to mono in the timeline?

From the timeline you could duplicate the track and put a Fill Left with Right and a Fill Right with Left effect on the clips. Seems kinda daunting but you can duplicate multiple clips at once and apply the effect to multiple clips as well.
Yeah, dual mono from stereo needs to be changed at the clip level before they get to the timeline.

Guess what? Adobe Audition can convert stereo tracks into dual mono by right clicking the file and choosing extract channels to mono files!
A bunch of people were looking for a way to do this
