Splitting Screns/Expand??
I’m sure I have this worded wrong, but maybe I can explain. First let me say that I have been using Vegas for about 6 months and I love it. I sit for hours and try to bust this program out. Here is my question…
I have a segment that has the main image and then 3 other video tracks are shown in small windows. I would like for one of the windows to become big and actually grow into the full screen. If you need to see the example of what I’m talking about please let me know and I’ll post the MediaFire link.

The following explanation assumes you have some knowledge of using keyframes in Vegas.
I assume that your small window is created using track motion.
Place a keyframe where you want to start changing the size, then place the cursor where you want the image to be full size (assuming the sync cursor is turned on)then right-click the box and choose ‘restore’. this will set the image to full size and make a keyframe at that point in time.The result will be that the image will change size over the duration of the two keyframes.

You right-click the box that defines the area of the image you are seeing. Choose Restore Box.

Now I have a new qeustion, how do you make it speed up?

The change occurs over time between keyframes, so if you move the keyframes closer together, it happens faster.

Makes sense. Thanks again for answering my questions. I’m trying to bust Vegas open and learn it. When it comes to basics like this I’d rather just ask then expand on the information I get here.
