  • Splitting Multiple Tracks on Timeline?

Posted by Rick Antonio on September 5, 2013 at 4:17 am

I have multiple A/V tracks on my timeline from 5 different camera angles in sync.

I’d like to split the events and have them stay in sync so I can switch back and forth between each camera angle.

I’ve done this many times before, but for some odd reason, when I try to split the events now, it only splits one A/V track.

How do I get it to split all the tracks in my timeline?

Not an idiot, many of us get tripped up by something simple once in a while. What splits depends on what is the “focus” (in Windows terms). If any events are selected, then the split affects those selected events under the cursor. If there are no events selected, then the split will affect all events under the cursor.
