    Hello all,

I am wondering if it is possible to split the audio layer in After Effects? I want to sync a video file and I need to shorten the audio. So I would like to remove part of the audio. Thanks!!!

Hey, you can “shorten” the audio by modifying the IN and OUT points or the audio layer. Not sure if you can “cut” it like in an editing program…

    Cheers!

click the visuals off at the eyeball icon to the left of the layer menu line , and render the audio as wav or mp3 mate.
