I’m currently cutting a commercial for a small company. My boss asked me to speed up a part of the video where the owner of the commercial is talking to the camera. I put it to 120% speed and turned on the “Maintain Audio Pitch” so he wouldn’t sound like a chipmunk. Although it helped a little bit, the guy kind of has an echo and slightly sounds a bit more robotic. Is there anyway I can fix that?

    Thanks

When I do these, I handle video and audio separately. I may change the video clip speed right on the timeline, but I do the audio speed/pitch management in Audition. I am generally much happier with those results.
