  Speeding up by aggregating ports – edit over ethernet faster?

  A wild thought?

  2 mac pros – each with 2 – gigabit ports .

  Connect both with two cat 5e each , to 3com switch that supports link aggregation.

  Will this double my speed over ethernet ? Can the MP use both ports this way?

  Anyone tried this?
