This is really an Audition question, but I’m hoping a Premiere Pro person can show me the way.

I’m trying to speed up a short imported audio file into Audition 2018 while preserving the audio pitch. Speed up timing is perfect, but I cannot see how to preserve pitch so I get the mickey mouse sound.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I am using Audition 2017 in these images. For simply changing the length of an audio track without changing pitch, the “Stretch and Pitch” effect is what you are looking for:

When the dialog box with controls opens, you just set for the length you want, making sure pit change is set to “0”.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.
