speeding up a car smoothly

I’m editing a car promo for an iPad app shot on a Canon 5D at 25P. The client wants me to speed some shots up, typically 150 to 200 percent. Can anyone suggest the best way to do this smoothly?

I need to do this tonight……so thanks in advance!

Final Cut tends to handle speed changes poorly. If it wasn’t shot with this in mind (ie. with proper frame rates), it can be tough to get good results. There are some plugins out there you may want to look at:
