Apologies for the dopey question but I’m a real newbie to after effects and am required to make a star field flythrough.
The problem I have is that although the manual talks about great control of the speed attributes I’ve been unable to get the speed of movement to exponentially increase as the stars & asteroids come towards me. Instead they approach either in a linear fashion or the feeling is they slow down,
I note in the manual that they show pictures of the timeline in a graphic form where you can adjust the handles but I have not for the life of me manged to get that on my screen.

Once again sorry for the basic question but a helpful hand would be much appreciated.
    cheers.
    Jo

Next to the desired property (position, rotation, scale, for example) there should be a little triangle. If you click it, the value graph should be revealed.

It’s in the help under “Fine-tuning animation>Using the Value graph to change a layer property value”.

    Thanks for that,
Reinstalling helped me actually get all the controls, no wonder I was struggling!!!
