I am using CS6 of Premiere Pro, and Encoder.

I added a WAV file (also tried using a MP3) of a very clear voice over. I right click, select “Analyze Content”, I add the script text file in UTF-8, and then click OK. It opens encoder, and encodes it to a local temp folder as an f4v file. Once its done, I go back into Premiere and there is nothing new.. no text, no error, nothing.

Is it supposed to reference the F4V file? Perhaps it doesn’t know the location of the file?

Can I just use encoder to export the metadata and manually import it?

The main goal I’m trying to accomplish is to export audio markers to use in after effects to sync VO.

Okay that’s weird. I just installed Premiere pro on another development machine running Windows 7, but with no other Adobe products. This time it worked fine. I noticed in the encoder it actually set the format to “content analysis” instead of f4v.

Weird why it didn’t work on the media machine.
