I’m looking for help specing out a new machine for my office. We’re going to be getting the new 12 Core Mac Pro, and mostly need advice on how much memory to get. We do a lot of Cinema4D, as well as AE and editing in FCP. With the 12 cores, my initial thought was to put 2GB per core, so 24GB. Is this overkill? Or would I end up using it all to its fullest potential? I understand AE has its issues in utilizing memory, but would my Cinema renders benefit from beefing it up?
