  • Special Menu?

So i constantly run out of memory in my projects, i guess my 2 gigs isnt enough…what can i say i like a lot of blending modes and layers. Anyways, i read in a post that you can hold shift and a special menu will appear under one of the menu tabs that will allow for more flexible memory options. But when i hold shift i dont see any “special” sub-section in the menus. I’m running AE 7 on a PC with windows XP. Anyone know the trick?

You hold down shift when you access the prefs, and keep holding it down until you get to the Prefs dialog box. The dialog should now have one more type of prefs added to the regular list: “secret”. That is what you seek.
