Doing a hi speed shoot for slo mo w/special hi speed camera system, and it’s windows
AVI file creation will ultimately need to get into my FCP 4.5 box.

Anybody done this? Is quality comprable with…? What?

Been a while since had to deal with AVI’s.

Any suggestions as it needs to be as good as I can get quality wise for client.

    Thanks,

Well….. Quicktime can handle most of the AVI formats and should be able to open them. If not, you’ll have to convert it on a PC to a codec that Quicktime can use. Convert it to the Animation codec and import it or you could convert it to whatever codec you are using in your project.
