Source Settings not appearing in “Effect Controls” panel

Source Settings not appearing in “Effect Controls” panelI am working with .R3D that I would like to change the white balance on a “Source Settings” level. If I click on the clip in the timeline then go to “Clip > Source Settings…” I’m presented the “RED R3D Source Settings” panel. That all works fine.
However, I was watching a youtube clip where the guy would edit the source settings from the “Effects Controls” panel under the “Master Clip” tab. When I look for this option I can no find it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1clWi4hta4

Master Clips are access by dragging a clip from the project panel into the source viewer…
then going to FX controls….
this is commonly referred to as source side effects…
they are applied prior to timeline use and the properties are not available when selecting the clip in the sequence…
so doing a base color set up is a good example of a master clip effect…then the effect will be applied in every instance of the clip usage in sequences. if the master is changed…all usages of the clip will reflect the change globally in the project.
