    Premiere CS6 6.0.5
    MacBookPro 2ghz i7 2013 8gb ram
Lacie FW800 connected via Blekin Thunderbolt Express hub
    sound out via headphones

I am watching footage directly from my raw footage folders, by bringing them form the Browser into the Sourtce window and playing them. My camera is a SONY NX30, which means the files are AVCHD at 24 fps, 24mbps bitrate- 48khz 16bit PCM audio.
Almost every clip starts out OK and then the audio goes silent (picture continues). I then stop or scrub the playback bar and play again, and hear audio again. Is this one of the problems with viewing footage form the camera cards, without converting into ProREs or something? I am new to Premiere and never had this in FCP 7 since I always transcoded first.

Any info very appreciated, logging is hell with this bug happening.
