I have some audio that sounds like it was recorded in a hall way. I went into Soundbooth and removed a low decibal hiss, and increased the overall volume, but I can seem to turn on my effects rack and there are no effects from what I can tell. Everything else in Soundbooth is working fine and this is not a beta copy or anything like that.

    Where are my effects? Harrumph!

Sorry for posting here, but I looked all over the web and here in the forums with no luck.

    Thank you in avanced…

The default preset in the Effects Rack is “Empty”. Click the drop down arrow for the effects. Hope it is that simple!

There are no effects in the drop down. Can you please tell me where you Soundbooth effects live…in the directory, maybe mine are in the wrong place.

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Soundbooth CS3\Plug-ins\Common\VSTPlugins

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Soundbooth Scores

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Adobe\Soundbooth\1.0\EffectPresets

Your install matches mine. I cannot recognize the effects listed anywhere in the Program folder. You must have an open audio file. Try reinstalling.
