Soundbooth a disappointment
As much as I would have wanted to like all that CS5 has to offer…after exploring Soundbooth I find it is quite a disappointment. It really cant compete with Soundtrack Pro. Thats a shame because I keep hoping that the speed and interactivity of Premiere / After Effects would be reflected in the professional capabilities of all the other apps in CS5. But that is not the case with SB.There is no graphic mixer or support for an external mixer surface… some effects like echo or flange have ONE parameter control. Come on Adobe..what the hell are you thinking?

Soundbooth is basically a free program. Go to Audition 3.0 for professional results.

Not on a Mac. I will return to Soundtrack Pro which is a very full featured audio app designed for the sweetening process/
