    Other clips seem to work but suddenly the wave form is gone. The keyframes and edits are still there but no wave graphics.

    maybe a corruption in your waveform cache?

    check your system prefs to see where the location is

    then go there and delete it.

    ALL your waveforms will have to be re-drawn, though.
    not a real big deal, fortunately

    you could maybe move it first.
    see if that works.

    Trash waveform files and same problem. Some clips have a waveform and others do not. Those that do not can be seen if you zoom in to the maximum.

    Well, I moved a source file for one of the clips to the internal hard drive and it flew. Odd, since there were no other problems with the other clips that were located on the external drive.
