Hello sound Pros I wondered if I may hear your thoughts re the following:

As a camera operator I have mostly worked with shoulder mounted ENG styled cameras when working with sound recordist. The XLR plugs mounted on the back are a handy thing. I have a job coming up with an EX series camera which has the XLR inputs on the front side. This has to be annoying?

Also if you were running two wireless units where/how would you best mount this stuff – velcro?

Anyone got any hints, tips and gizmo (other than going completely wireless) for dealing with this?

    All thoughts greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    Paul

Hello Paul and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum,

Zaxcom, Lectrosonics and Sony make stereo wireless camera hops. Wireless transmitters that are fed by a mixer that send to a two channel receiver on a camera.

    Regards,
