    Hi,

We have Davinci-Resolve installed on a 17″-MacBook Pro (2009-new-model), but it can’t create a database.

When installed on a MacPro (2009), it had no problems creating a database and it’s up and running.

Unfortunately, this solution is not good:

…”To solve this problem, please use the following steps:

    1. Open a Terminal
    2. sudo mv /Library/PostgreSQL /Library/PostgreSQL_old (enter password when prompted)
    3. Re-install Resolve”

    Best regards

Hi, I am not sure from your post if you have a database connection issue or no database. What is the error message you see reporting that Resolve does not have a database? This will assist the davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com engineers to guide you.
    Peter
