    I have no idea how it could be done…but I imagine for someone who knew what they were doing, that it would not be that hard to do…

    If they can do it for doom surely they can do it for after effects right?

    After Effects is not a game engine nor can it do interactive content.

    I played with Mettle’s Skybox unpaid for my own copy like 3 months before Adobe bought it . And I did exactly this with a few old comps, skybox created comps with cameras looking in different directions and you Linda fly the main comps camera in your 3D environment and AE makes the 360 video for you. It’s a little limited, but pretty effective.
