Sony Vegs 12 open COPY in Audio Editor Keyboard Shortcut anyone?
Hello I am using the Avid MC Control and I have Vegas using Mackie control and its really nice, however I would like to be able to assign a keyboard shortcut to Open Copy in External Audio Editor instead of CTRL+E open in audio editor? Any ideas guys?

Options > Customize Keyboard
Enter “OpenCopy” in Show commands containing text box, then select the command and assign the desired shortcutVegasaur – automation plugins and tools for Sony Vegas Pro

I found that and I have entered numerous unused key commands and it looks like it should work but it is not opening wavelab. I do have Wavelab linked so if I right click it it does in fact work but key command is a no go…I will keep messing! Thank you!

Make sure when you customize the keyboard you select Global rather than the Explorer tab in the dialog when you assign the short-cut. It defaulted to Explorer for me and it did not work from the timeline, but when I assigned the short-cut to Global OpenCopy then it worked for me.
