recently whenever I have tried to drag and drop (or import) an mp3 or a wav sony vegas will not load it. Also when I run sony vegas a small white blank windows called sfvstserver will come up and just not do anything. But it will load audio from wmv files. Any solution?

Little update, I reinstalled sony vegas 11 (I was using sony vegas 12) and I can drop in the same exact mp3s into sony vegas 11, but if I try to import them into sony vegas 12 they still will not import into 12. No idea what to do.

Report the problem to Sony support, and use version 11 until it is fixed.

Try renaming your VST Plug-ins folder or change where Vegas Pro 12.0 is looking for VST plug-ins and restart Vegas Pro 12.0 and see if that helps. It sounds like you may have a VST plug-in that doesn’t play well with Vegas Pro 12.0.
