    PLEASE, I NEED HELP!

So I have Sony vegas pro 9.0.
And there is a little problem I have…
So I want to do track motion: Not moving my video (like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GL-2gXX1Ebs )
But more like this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pjXZkmpIzU But then with a blood hit or a muzzle flash, because when I do a muzzle flash, and my video moves, then my muzzle flash moves with it…

And also, where can I find good gunsounds and stuff?

    Thanks a lot!

I believe the term you’re looking for is motion tracking! You can do it in After Effects but also Vegas if you download plugins like Boris FX.

If it’s just for a muzzle flash, you’ll find they only last one to two frames, so you can manually track it.

Make sure of course your muzzle flash has a black background, and give it it’s own video track and set its Compositing Mode to Add.

Get your flash at the time you want it and use Event Pan/Crop to turn and move into the right position.

In your Event Pan/Crop you can make a keyframe for the second (if applicable) frame of the flash and then move it to the correct position of the next frame.

Muzzle flashes should probably only be a frame long though.

If you want to track smoke to something in your background or blood FX, check out Boris FX Continuum: https://www.borisfx.com/sony/bccsvp/

One last queastion: Is there an alternative for Boris FX?
    Because it’s not cheap…
Or can I download the trial over and over again with another account?

You can also buy the motion tracker unit separately:

Ouch! It is horribly expensive. I’ll make a point to post here if I come across anything cheaper…

A while ago, I switched from Boris FX and Graffity to RED. So I still have FX and Graffity for sale, much cheaper then the price in the Boris webshop. But then you should realise that Boris FX 9.3.2 and Graffity 5.3.2 will only work with 32bits Vegas. If you are interested, you can always send me an e-mail.

However, the link I gave you above for the BCC mortion tracker points to a plugin that works within Vegas 10-64bits. So you will have to decide whether that is more beneficial to you
