Sony Vegas stabilization vs Mercalli
I received an email from Sony advertising a new image stabilization plug-in. I purchased Mercalli a while back and it works quite well but not perfect and so many steps involved to apply.
I’d like to hear about any comments or reviews comparing these two plug-ins. -

The new plug-in is by NewBlue FX and I personally like it better than Mercalli in the testing that I’ve done. It seems to keep more of frame when zooming and the edge options are far better than Mercalli’s useless smear.
I would highly recommend that you download the trial from the NewBlue FX web site and do some head-to-head comparisons with Mercalli and see what you think.

Thanks very much. The email Sony sent brought me to a site that did not have any trial options, just a purchase one. Thanks to your reply, I can and will give it a try.
