How? What device? That will determine how to render it. You need to select a format that the projection device supports. Without knowing that… you can’t determine what format to render to.

Hey, thanks for replying 🙂 Well, it’s really so that I can show them on my 42″ TV, but I assumed by getting settings for the Big Screen, it would look even better on the TV, but I may be wrong, I’m new to this stuff, so please have patience with me :)So basically, what render settings would I choose to get it to look brilliant on my TV? :)Also, I assumed the codec would be part of the render settings, what Codec would you suggest? BTW, the film would be put onto my TV screen via DVD.

That’s going to limit your quality. DVD’s are only 720×480 so your 1920×1080 footage will have 5x less resolution. To do this you would render the video to MainConcept MPEG2 using the DVD Architect 24p Widescreen template. Then render to the audio to Digital Dolby AC-3. Use those two files to author the DVD in DVD Architect.

If you really want it to look great you need to get a Blu-ray player or an HD media server. Then you can render as HD 1920×1080 using one of the Blu-ray templates.

hey thanks! I do have a PS3, so that would work as a blu-ray player, right? Can I simply put it on a USB stick and put it onto my PS3? 🙂

Yes, if you burn a Blu-ray disc it should play back on the PS3.

You may be able to navigate to the video file and play it manually but it will not be recognized as Blu-ray disc because it’s on a USB stick.

You can burn to Blu-ray from within Vegas without menus or if you want menus, you’ll need DVD Architect software. Of course, you’ll also need a Blu-ray burner in your computer.
