Sony Vegas Pro, Media Offline but it won’t accept the file location?
I’ve been working on a project, turned the pc off for a while, come back to it and a large chunk of my project is now “media offline” I haven’t changed the location of the files or anything. When I try and show it the files location it doesn’t accept it and just asks me again.
Any thoughts anyone please?

Generally, ignore it. If you edit into the “offline” event, it should be normal.

I thought this, but its coming up as a blank a screen like the media is actually offline, I can’t seem to find a solution. Yesterday I re edited the section and the same thing happened again. Any thoughts?

Looking into this further, I have noticed that the files that are offline have changed file name. I re edited with the same files fresh from the file location, saved and closed, re opened and the media was again offline. I opened the properties of the files and it’s saying that the file name is entirely different, it’s linking the files to another folder and using the files names from the footage in the other folder, I am entirely baffled by this! Can anyone spread some light please?
