  • Sony Vegas Pro HD render 1920×1080 Gives me Black Bars on the Side?

    Hi, Creativecow

I have had a few problems with my rendering. Some information and what I’ve tried.
(Rendering in .AVI is just TOO large. Last resort).

    1) My video clip is 1920×1080
    2) I’m rendering in .WMV settings “Keep Original Size” or Custom: 1920×1080
    3) I’ve tried matching/unmatching aspect ratio.
    4) I’ve tried to “Match Media”.

I can’t get it to get rid of black bars that only occur during rendering. Other than that, it looks like a normal, HD/widescreen video.

Any ideas or help? Please, I’m desperate and frustrated here!

Have you changed the aspect ratio in the WMV render settings
    somehow?

Try right clicking on the timeline clips and go to properties. Uncheck maintain aspect ratio.. Does that help?
